This is an absolutely stunning motorcycle. Sold new in October, 1998, This 1999 R1100S is from the first U.S. production year. This particular bike was not destined for the road, but rather to merely be admired as eye candy. It was never ridden or started, but rather taken immediately to a climate-controlled storage room where it has remained. The bike was given a complete carbon fiber treatment. The carbon fiber front fender was a standard item, but added to that were carbon fiber front fairing, gas tank cover, foot guards, spark plug covers, rear shock cover, and the rare and expensive carbon fiber engine spoiler.
In addition, the European headlight switch was installed, which allows for the headlight to be turned off. The original switch is included.
The bike also comes with the pit/work stand (BMW part # 90 88 6 001 560), factory repair manual, tool kit, tire repair kit, keys, owner’s manual, original sales documents, and an assortment of spare parts.
